DAY TWO
Bright and early on Monday, 8am-ish, we jumped on the Kiwi bus that would be our home away from home for the next 6 days. Our bus driver, Bodhi (pronounced Bo-dee) was a riot. Great commentary, only two bus rules: No music by Coldplay and No milk on the bus.
Our first quick stop en route to Mercury Bay was Mt. Eden which is just outside of Auckland. There's not much there except amazing views of Auckland and the surrounding suburbs. I didn't get many photos on my camera as the my batteries started to die but this is one that I did manage to get and of course, more pics to come as all of Team America posts photos and we steal them from each other. This is also when we got knighted Team America as we were the only 5 on the bus doing the abbreviated tour (ie not going to the south island) and then Bodhi realized we were all Americans travelling together. Thus Team America. :)
